With more and more families spread around the world, our unique global wish list platform allows for gifts to be purchased from anywhere in the world without incurring exorbitant international delivery fees. Users also get the gifts that they want, making the system useful for both the purchaser and the receiver.
Using genealogy as the base for establishing parental and family relationships, HUYU is able to implement a very secure parental control structure for child accounts.
Family relationships are the strongest bonds that people have. HUYU reinforces these bonds and enables users to strengthen these relationships, and reconnect with family that they may have lost touch with.
Online shopping has grown in popularity over the last decade and has reached the point where almost all internet users have purchased something online. With this growing trend, we are employing the use of online shopping through trusted stores to bring further convenience and ease of use to the platform.
Using the WAVES Platform, HUYUcoin will provide a decentralized currency for use on the HUYU.co website. In time through decentralization of the family tree HUYU will provide a secure, private and trustworthy online identity for it's users.
Although not included in the launch product, HUYU has several modules that will be implemented after launch that we bring a social and communication aspect to the platform, with certain social aspects aimed specifically at family, allowing the user to set a security policy that is right for them.

Wayne is highly respected in his chosen field of legal practice. Wayne has worked with large financial institutions for most of his working career and, with a focus on governance he is perfectly placed to head up the board.

Being in an international trade, Courtney has powerful knowledge of global business and multi-currency transactions. Courtney heads up the financial department and constantly has his finger on the pulse.
With his background in web business systems, Mike is a passionate leader forging forward with the vision to see the bigger picture. With over 15 years in the field, he has worked over multiple industries from smaller scale systems to global full scale corporate value systems bringing valuable in-field experience. Mike has been an active crypto activist for the past 3 years and loves working out how he can change the world with crypto!

He has coded gaming, financial, construction, logistics and social mobile applications, branching across various sectors over the last 10 years. Rob gives life to data, creativity runs through his veins and he is in the sweet spot right between math and interactivity.
How it all began...

In April 2014 Rob and I were having a conversation about gift giving and how a gift Rob had bought for a family member in New Zealand from South Africa had cost more in freight and duties combined than the original cost of the gift itself.
The conversation moved onto how family gift giving was decreasing due to the vast distances that separate us now-a-days. Most families are spread around the world and an email or text message has taken the place of gift giving, not by choice. We felt this was a sad state of affairs and decided to see what could be done.
The idea of setting up a global gift giving website that would allow users to purchase from any shop they liked was the easy part, but how to get the traction needed to make the venture viable. Genealogy came to mind as we knew that most gift were purchased within families, so this seemed a good way to connect families. Little did we realise we had released the "Kraken".
